A Powerful Uplifting Prayer for the Worried Single Mom(Isaiah 41:10)

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Without a doubt, being a single mom is no easy job. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it because you are juggling the responsibilities of two parents on your own. And, of course, God knew that, so he planned to have both mother and father in every child’s home. But sometimes, life doesn’t always go as planned, and you are left to a single parent due to various circumstances.

But, take solace in God’s promises to be with you, help you, and hold you up with His righteous right hand, just as He said in Isaiah 41:10.

He sees your single mom’s struggles and knows along with love, hugs, and kisses; you are experiencing all kinds of worries and fears.

Worrying about providing adequately for your children is usually one of them since you are in a one-income household.

Another concern that may arise as a single mother is the effects of a fatherless home on your children, especially when looking at the results of such statistics. And at times, you might even worry about isolation and rejection from others.

Discover how a Christian single mom can overcome worrying and fear and find strength by praying the promises in Isaiah 41:10.

Isaiah 41:10 is a Good Prayer for Single Moms.

And as a single mother myself, I can relate. Sometimes, I didn’t know how to provide for my children or who would watch them while I worked. And most of all, the effects my singleness might have on my kids were always on my mind. Often, in those moments, worrying usually took over.

It wasn’t until I read Isaiah 41:10 KJV that I considered it a personal letter from God because of its promises.

Each time I read that Bible verse, I could sense the Lord saying, “Do not fear my child; I am with you. Do not worry, my daughter, because I am your God.”

Such a comforting and uplifting scripture!

That is why I made that verse my prayer to overcome worry and strengthen my trust in God’s ability to provide for me and my children.

And because of that, my children and I have seen His goodness each step of the way. From miraculous tuition provisions for my children and favor from my bosses to accommodate my childcare needs to money from unexpected sources. He always provides for us. It all started with me praying God’s truths in Isaiah 41:10, which also promised God’s help to strengthen and keep us.

A Powerful Uplifting Prayer for the Worried Single Mom(Isaiah 41:10)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for my child/children; being a mom is a beautiful blessing and truly an honor. Thank you, Lord. In your perfect will, two parents to every child. But due to life’s mean blows, I am a single mom. However, because of Your loving-kindness, I take comfort in Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 that You are with me, and I should not fear.

So, please forgive me for worrying about not having enough and my children’s future.

I know You will step in and be a father to them. To fill that space in their hearts, missing a physical father. And protect them from any ‘wounds’ or ‘bruises’ associated with a fatherless home.

Another promise from You in Isaiah 41:10 is to help me. In that case, I will rest in knowing that You will help me adequately meet their needs. And to teach them to look to You as their Father. To raise them to love, adore You, and walk in Your divine plan for their lives. Thank you, Lord.

You also said that You would strengthen me. So, I thank You for my daily supply of grace and wisdom needed in my single motherhood season.

And I cling to Your righteous right hand(Jesus) as You promised to uphold me above any situation that comes my way. So, I can overcome worry and strengthen my trust in You, Father. And this I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

See you in the next blog.
